In early May, I started recording sounds of my daily life in confinement: washing my hands, sparrows fighting over seeds on the balcony, the stove-top espresso maker. Some of the sounds leant themselves to beat creation. I decided to play whatever I felt over those beats on my 8-string bass. And I ended up with an almost entirely improvized collection of slightly lo-fi chillness.

So. This is who I am when I’m at home.

Well, during May 2020, at least.
